Looking for ways to jazz up your home this Christmas? Here’s how.

Mantlescaping - it’s actually a thing you know. If you’re lucky enough to have a lovely fireplace, it should be a focal point in the room, and it offers a great opportunity for some festive decor. Find yourself a lovely garland of greenery - can be faux or the real thing - and add pops of colour with baubles. Throw in warmth with a string of lights. Drape the garland up across and all the way down the fire surround - more is definitely more at Christmas, after all!

Display your Christmas cards cleverly, by hanging them on festive ribbon or arranging them in a Christmas tree shape on the wall.

Pick a lovely long strip of greenery to weave around the spindles up your bannister, or create a more contemporary garland with baubles or Christmas cards. Again, go big with this, for maximum impact.

Create a bright, festive wall as an extra layer in your living room. Punchy Christmas cards, wrapping paper and wall hangings will create a fun,  vibrant look.

Find a spare surface such as a sideboard or shelving and create a Christmas scene with ornaments. Wooden ones always look chic. Use a mix of heights when creating the scene, and a variety of shades to keep things interesting.
